There are a number of grant opportunities open at any one time to all sorts of different organisations, or individuals, for activities they might be doing.

City of Launceston Community Grants

For my electorate of Launceston, the City of Launceston provides a number of grant opportunities for organisations and individuals in the area.

Premier's Discretionary Fund

The Tasmanian Premier's Office allocates a certain amount of small funds to discretionary causes. Please get in touch with my office if you think we can help.

Meander Valley Council Grants

Part of my electorate extends into the Meander Valley Council LGA and some grants are available through their grants and sponsorship programs.

National Black Spot Program

The Australian Government will provide $1.1 billion from 2013-2024 to address black spot issues on our roads. See how to nominate a black spot and more details below.

Australian Council for the Arts

A number of small to large grants are available for individuals and organisations in the Australian arts space.

Employment Assistance Fund

The EAF gives financial help to eligible people with a disability and mental health conditions and employers to buy work-related modifications, equipment, assistance and support services.

Global Fund for Women

The Global Fund for Women invests in women's groups that advance the human rights of women and girls in the areas of zero violence, economic & political empowerment and sexual and reproductive health and rights.

Tasmanian Institute of Sport

The National Representatives Fund is designed to assist with the additional costs to Tasmanian athletes and coaches competing at a junior or open competition level, or with travel overseas.

Matana Foundation for Young People

This fund provides assistance to young persons from disadvantaged or marginalised backgrounds, focusing on providing programs that target school retention and educational achievement.

New Enterprise Incentive Scheme

The NEIS provides accredited training, business advice and mentoring for the first year of business operations for those starting up and running a small business.

Screen Tasmania

Screen Tas provides assistance for eligible projects including drama, documentaries and animation, features, long-form and short-form series, games development and marketing.

Aboriginal Benefits Foundation

Provides grants to assist Aboriginal communities and individuals by providing funds to support projects focusing on art, literacy, health, education and culture.

Transition to Independent Living

A one-off payment of up to $1,500 to help eligible young people cover some of the basic costs associated with leaving out-
