My question has generated quite a few inquiries to my office, so people are very keen to know the answer.

Given that the Launceston Show has been cancelled, will there still be a public holiday for the region on 10 October 2024?

ANSWER

Mr President, there will still be a public holiday in the municipal areas of the Break O'Day, Dorset, Georgetown, Launceston, Meander Valley, Northern Midlands and West Tamar on 10 October 2024.
